Over the years, South Florida, specifically the Jupiter area, has become the mecca for pro golfers.

While Jack Nicklaus was the first to call the northern Palm Beach County area home, Tiger Woods relocating to Jupiter Island in 2010 started the "boom" that has resulted in the top golfers in the world flocking to south Florida. Today, the likes of Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, and Rickie Fowler all live in the Jupiter area, making it one of the premier golf communities in the country.

The Honda Classic has been named the “Most Fan First Event” on the PGA Tour at the Annual Best Awards event this year. The Fan Friendly award was presented to The Honda Classic Golf Tournament that is held in Palm Beach Gardens every year.

The Honda Classic tournament made its move to Palm Beach Gardens PGA National Resort and Spa in 2007 and this is the second time the tournament was recognized by the PGA Tour for its excellence in fan engagement. As part of its efforts as a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the Country Club at Mirasol has begun harvesting its own honey.

The club currently houses 20 beehives throughout the 2,300-acre community, producing more than 430 pounds to the sweet nectar over the past 12 months. The honey produced from these beehives will be used in the Club's culinary operations, from marinades and appetizers to desserts and cocktails the club announced.  The "Bee Inspired" initiative will be prominently placed on menus by featuring a "Bee Inspired" logo.

PGA National Resort and Spa is hosting their Fifth Annual Craft Beer Bash this Saturday, August 10th.

The popular event features more than 150 varieties of craft beers and hard ciders with focus on Florida breweries. You’ll also have a chance to vote for your favorite beer and cider to help pick the winner of the People’s Choice Award. The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium mixes science with miniature golfing in their 18-hole Conservation Course. The 18-hole course has been on the Travel Channel’s list of the “13 of the Best Mini Golf Courses Across the Country”. The Conversation Course is just one of two mini golf courses in Florida to make the list, the other course is Walt Disney World’s Winter Summerland.
