The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium mixes science with miniature golfing in their 18-hole Conservation Course. The 18-hole course has been on the Travel Channel’s list of the “13 of the Best Mini Golf Courses Across the Country”. The Conversation Course is just one of two mini golf courses in Florida to make the list, the other course is Walt Disney World’s Winter Summerland.

The mission of the Science Center is to “open every mind to science” and the Conservation Course does that by educating the guests about Florida’s natural habitats, especially the Everglades. Each golf course hole is named for the animals and plants indigenous to South Florida.

All ages are welcomed to attend and enjoy the mini golf course. The course is open 7 days a week and closes an hour before the museum closes for the night. All those wishing to play golf must purchase museum admission and a golf pass to access the course and play.
