Harbourside Place in Jupiter is hosting their reoccurring Classic Car Show this weekend. Dozens of classic and antique cars will be rolling into Jupiter this Saturday.

Come and check out some of the world’s most unique cars at the Classic Car Show. The Classic Car Show happens once a month on the last Saturday of the month along the waterfront. The car show is hosted by South East Classics. The show is currently accepting cars to be entered into the show, however pre-registration is required due to space.

Boating is a very popular activity for all ages in Florida.  Any day of the week, dozens of boats out will be out on the water for hours enjoying the many benefits of living in the sunshine state.

Nights on Clematis will soon be a bit brighter thanks to new programming at the newly renovated Centennial Fountain at the Nancy M. Graham Centennial Square,150 North Clematis Street. The West Palm Beach “Clematis by Light” display started with a “Love Our CommUNITY” show. The show will run Thursdays through Sundays plus President's Day until March 11, 2021.

The 6-minute show runs three times an hour from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. According to city officials the event will consist of a "waterworks spectacle", set to synchronized light and music shows. On select Wednesday during the year, The River Center in Jupiter hosts an after-school program with Scientist Same. The program is called Science With Sam.  Science With Sam is aimed for children in grades K through 5th grade.

Science With Sam includes activities such as garden exploration and many hand-on opportunities with wildlife. The event is hosted every month and each month features a different theme. The month of February will feature activities with Reptiles.

February’s Science With Sam will be this Wednesday, February 24th at 4 pm.  The after-school program is free to attend and registration is required due to limited space.

Scripps Research Institute’s Florida Campus in Jupiter received a philanthropic gift from the William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust to provide science education training opportunities for local elementary, middle, and high school students.  The William R. Kenan, Jr. Charitable Trust will invest in the institute’s educational programs with a commitment of $1.8 million. 

The Kenan Charitable Trust endorsed these programs as part of its mission to support educational opportunity to the benefit of humanity. Every Saturday morning, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts their weekly Self-Guided Beach Clean Ip for those wanting to help keep our beaches and oceans clean. All are welcomed and encouraged to help in the effort. 

Those that wish to participate are asked to stop by the back deck of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center before they begin. The supplies will be available at the Marine Debris Sorting Station.  Once supplies are picked up, volunteers can make their way down to the beach and begin. 

Once finished, simply bring your supplies and trash bags back to the Sorting Station at the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center and pick up a free t-shirt as a Thank You gift for helping to keep our beaches clean.
