CPB at The Colony Palm Beach: The colorful boutique hotel has opened a new restaurant hotel this past December. CPB is led by executive Chef Tom Whitaker and offers a contemporary American dining experience with a playful twist. The menu is spilt into three sections, seasonal, harvest, and classics. The classic side of the menu features dishes such as steak tartare, poached lobster, and beef tenderloin. The seasonal side features roasted chicken breast, and confit lamb belly, where the harvest side features roasted cauliflower and avocado and cucumber gazpacho. Gather your running shoes and join in on the 2019 Race of Hope 5 K race. The run aims to raise money and awareness for Depression research. The 3.1-mile race will take place this Sunday, January 27th, starting at 8 am.

The race route will start at the Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach and will travel along the North Lake Trail, the waterfront and the streets of Palm Beach. The family-focused event aims to be both inspiring and fun for all.

All of the proceeds from the race will be directly donated to brain research that will help transform the way depressions is treated, diagnosed, viewed and prevented. The Palm Beach Zoo has announced their special events and promotions that they added to their January calendar.

January’s Schedule:

Early Explorers: Feathered Friends for children ages 3-4 years old: This Saturday, January 12th, the Palm Beach Zoo is hosting an early explorer workshop designed for preschool aged children. The workshop includes an interactive educational experience that features stories, games, crafts, visits to animal habitats, and up-close animal encounters throughout the Zoo or their nature area. The iconic Palm Beach street, Worth Avenue is known for its upscale dining and shopping that stretches from the intracoastal to the Atlantic Ocean.

The popular indoor cycling studio has returned to Palm Beach this season for another pop-up shop in the Royal Poinciana Plaza on Palm Beach Island.

The spin cycle studio is in its second trail in the area after the success of last year. The New York City based company returned to Palm Beach on November 20th and runs until March 31st for its Destination SOUL Pop-Up shop.

The company started 12 years ago as a way to help people get in shape without spending too much time working out. The company has locations in several states and major cities including Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Austin, and Chicago.

The closet SoulCycle studio to Palm Beach County is in Miami with locations in Brickell, Miami Beach, and Coral Gables.
