Beginning Sunday, November 22, 2020 through Sunday, December 20, 2020 the  Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach, will host an Art of Bonsai class.  Bonsai is a captivating art-form that combines horticultural techniques and Asian aesthetics in a distinctive way. The art originated within the Chinese empire and was copied and modified by the Japanese to what we know now as Bonsai trees. Literally translated "bon-sai" means "planted in a container".

Morikami Museum offers an assortment of Japanese cultural and art classes taught by experienced instructors. The Bonsai course is an ancient, horticultural practice meaning "a tree in a tray," which creates the illusion of age and maturity of a tree. The bonsai…

The exhibit "Georgia O'Keeffe: Living Modern" at the Norton Museum of Art,1450 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach casts new light on the woman, her art, and her clothing. The Society of Four Arts, 100 Four Arts Plaza,  Palm Beach, is honored to present the “A Shared Legacy: Folk Art in America” exhibit.  This unique exhibition offers a splendid presentation of American traditional art made mainly in rural areas of New England, the Midwest, and the South between 1800 and 1920.
