The Boca Raton Museum of Art, located at 501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, and the Machu Picchu and The Golden Empires of Peru exhibit have been featured in the New York Times as a destination that should not be missed. The exhibit will be presented through Sunday, March 06, 2022, for a limited run at the Boca Raton Museum of Art before embarking on a multi-country, worldwide tour.

In one article, Andrew James Hamilton, a curator at the Art Institute of Chicago, said the works featured in the exhibition are among the finest examples of pre-Columbian art. “This is the crème de la crème,” he said. “These are the kinds of works that museums around the world are trying constantly to get on loan.” Read the articles here and here.

It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Flagler Museum in Palm Beach. The first floor of the Flagler Museum, also known as Whitehall, is decorated in traditional Gilded Age holiday grandeur. The focal point of the holiday décor is the large 16-foot Christmas tree in the Grand Hall, filled with Gilded Age-style ornaments and colored lights. The exterior gates of the grand estate are decorated with holiday wreaths and lights. The museum has been transformed into holiday heaven as part of the annual holiday tradition known as “Christmas at Whitehall.”

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Closer to the holiday’s the museum is offering evening hours from December 20th through December 23rd from 6 pm to 8 pm. The…
