Meet The First Woman Elected as PGA of America President, Suzy Whaley

Palm Beach Gardens resident and long-time veteran of the golf community Suzy Whaley has added another achievement to her extensive resume; she is officially the first woman ever elected to serve as an Officer of the PGA of America. PGA Master Professional Suzy Whaley was elected as the 41st President of the PGA of America at the Association’s 102nd Annual Meeting on November 9th, 2018.
This title certainly doesn’t come as a surprise from PGA President Whaley, as she most recently served two years as Vice President, and two years as PGA Secretary. She is also the PGA Owner of Suzy Whaley Golf, and the PGA Director of Instruction at the Country Club of Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
