More than 1600 students a year are touched each year by the ART COUNCIL of MARTIN COUNTY.  They provide a wide variety of programs that benefit the community through the arts.  The Council believes that educating the youth of the community about art is vitally important to their creativity and thusly strengthening their leadership skills and aiding their academic development. 

The ART COUNCIL also teams up with Martin Memorial Hospital and encourages of the advantages of art helping heal hearts, minds, and bodies.  They have assisted Alzheimer’s patients, along with arts therapists, in the adult care program.

Bluewater Babes Fishing Tournament Grand Slam Tackle & Marine Center and The Square Grouper Tiki Bar of Jupiter, Florida present the 4th annual “Bluewater Babes Fish For A Cure”. This fundraising event is scheduled for October 5th and 6th  and with a kickoff party this evening, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Square Grouper Tiki Bar.  This is a women’s fishing tournament which raises money for two local charities:  H.O.W.
