Palm Beach County Continues to Sizzle as a Top Destination for Living and Vacationing!
Last year, West Palm Beach was ranked as the fourth best destination for golf in the world! What’s more, is that West Palm Beach was ranked as the eleventh best place for summer vacation in the world from the U.S. News & World Report. These are some strong indicators for what is in store for this summer season in south Florida. The summer months in Florida are considered the off-season; the months of June, July and August are warm and a little bit quieter than the busy in-season.
If you are looking for a great destination for a vacation during your summer, south Florida is perfect! You can enjoy all of the hotels at a discounted rate. The sun is shining and the ocean is warm. The president of the Palm Beach County Hotel & Lodging Association, Manny O’Neill, stated, “We are anticipating a strong summer!” he also indicated that there has been a large number of reservations made for the summer months in Palm Beach County. This has been a great improvement over the past “recession-addled” years.
The resorts and hotels offered by Palm Beach County are amazing! The Breakers is an old favorite, located oceanfront on Palm Beach. It is unbelievably lavish and represents a royal, Floridian experience.Ann Margo Peart, public relations manager at The Breakers in Palm Beach, said summer bookings are up 15 percent from this time last year. The Jupiter Beach Resort is another beachfront destination. Get your toes wet in the Atlantic Ocean and rest under the breezy palms. Miami Beach is just 90 miles away from Jupiter and if you are in the mood for a fun destination with a great night scene, you are just a drive away. On that note, the Florida Keys are within driving distance as well (how great is that?)!
What Makes Florida Living So Great
Even though there are seasonal influxes in south Florida, tourism officials said that Palm Beach County, from Jupiter to Boca, offers an “attractive portfolio” regardless of the season. Just last month, Jupiter was named one of the happiest seaside towns in America by Coastal Living. During the summer your friends and family will enjoy local events including weekly celebrations. For example, every week there is a Sunset Celebration at the Sailfish Marina, with art, music and food. Golf is a huge industry in Palm Beach County, being home to many of the world’s best golfers (Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy to name a few). The weekends are warm and filled with excitement. Take your boat down to Peanut Island or make a quick trip over to the Bahamas, just 50 miles away from Jupiter! Palm Beach County truly offers the best in living and vacation. From its world-class real estate to its limitless opportunities for adventure, there is something for everyone!
It is no wonder that Palm Beach County has been a highly regarded place to live and visit for years.
