Dog lovers it's time to get excited- the 4th annual 'Pup Crawl' is happening this Saturday with the theme "Harry Pawter."

The pup crawl is a fundraiser for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. It's been a hit the past three years and the society is hoping for another one. 

Locals can bring their pups to five different pet-friendly restaurants/bars in the Stuart area. It's $25 to participate and includes a free drink at each stop. The "Harry Pawter" theme means you and your pup should arrive with style because there will be costume contests, prizes, a 50/50 raffle and giveaways throughout the evening.

Here are the stops for the crawl:

Palm Beach County's first and only omakase cocktail experience opened just a few months ago when Saxon Sushi was created by Sweetwater Bar & Grill in Boynton Beach. 

Saxon Sushi Bar was opened in March right next door to Sweetwater and there's a door inside the restaurants so you can go back and forth if you please. The Saxon bar is the "laboratory of Sweetwater" according to co-owner Clint Reed, where they test and try new cocktail innovations and serve omakase cocktails based on guest feedback.

This Saturday, August 4th, is the innagural Manatee Island Ladies Fun Fishing Tournament for all fierce female anglers.

Lines go in at 7 a.m. and sisters, wives, moms and girlfriends will have seven hours to catch the most/biggest fish. The tournament will be held at the Manatee Island Bar & Grill which is situated on the inlet in Stuart. Weigh in will be between 2-3 p.m. at the Stuart Sailfish Marina around the corner. 

The award ceremony for the best female angler will be back at the Bar & Grill at 3:30. From then until 11:30 p.m. it's gonna be a party with awesome food and drink specials, live music and some special surprises.

On the first and third Friday of each month, The French Wine Merchant in Palm Beach hosts tastings on their tropical patio from 6-8 p.m.

Owner Maurice Amiel, who has 40 years in the business, hand-selects whites, roses, and reds to for patrons to enjoy along with gourmet French cheeses and breads. The cost is $20 per person or $35 per couple and attendees can take bottles home for 30% off the night of.

For the next week, PGA Commons in Palm Beach Gardens is hosting an event called "Give Back, Get Back" where shoppers can donate school supplies for needing local children in exchange for 10 percent off at participating restaurants and shops.
