This Sunday, April 1st, Carlin Park in Jupiter is hosting the 12th Annual Wheels Across The Pond Car Show. The car show is one of the premier shows for British Classic Cars and Motorcycles in the state of Florida.

The Car Show has been continuing to grow since it started in 2007. This year more than 250 European and British Classic Cars will be in Carlin Park to view. Wheels Across The Pond is free for admission and the show accepts donations each year to raise money for Jupiter’s animal rescue center, Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.

Tomorrow Saturday, March 24th, the Downtown at the Gardens is hosting their annual Spring Fling event for the whole family. The Palm Beach Gardens outdoor shopping and entertainment center will host the event from 11 am to 1 pm in the Centre Court.

Spring Fling is free and will feature plenty of family friendly activities such as chalk art, festive stilt walkers, jugglers, live music, an Easter Egg Hunt and more. Several businesses throughout the Downtown will be giving away Easter treats for the children.

Two Palm Beach County cities have made the list of the “10 Best Places to Visit” done by Livability.com. Livability.com is a website that showcases some of the best cities to visit and live throughout the country. The website ranked more than 2,000 cities across the United States and both Boca Raton and Jupiter were ranked in the Top 10. Boca Raton and Jupiter were also the only two Florida cities to have made the list.

A fun new tapas restaurant is coming West Palm Beach. The small-plate Spanish cuisine, Basque is set to open this Thursday, March 22nd at the historic Hotel Bida in the El Cid neighborhood. 

Hotel Bida is an historic inn built in 1929 by the famous architect Belford Shoumate and is an example of Bermuda Vernacular architecture. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is hosting their 15th Annual TurtleFest 2018 this upcoming Saturday, March 24th. More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the free ocean conservation festival from 10 am to 6 pm.

The festival will include food, specialty drinks and craft beers, live music, yoga, a beach cleanup, educational and fun activities, shopping, sea turtles and much more. At the festival you’ll have a change to visit the sick or injured sea turtles located in the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Tomorrow night Wellington is hosting their first annual Family Fun Night and lakeside boat parade. The event will start at 4:30 pm and runs until 7:30 pm as part of the Village of Lake Wellington Event Series.

The theme for family fun night is Mardi Gras, and the boats will be decorated with décor and lights for the parade to fit this month’s theme. The boats will gather on the west side of Lake Wellington near the Meadowland Cove boat launch before beginning the parade at the end of the night. All boaters are encouraged to participate in the boat parade.
