Come and explore the entire Palm Beach Zoo Saturday, July 14th for their reoccurring Food Truck Safari. The Food Truck Safari’s occur on the second Saturday of every month from June to August. The event includes dozens of food trucks in Palm Beach County gather to serve some best gourmet food.

There will also be live music and entertainment by The Earl Trio, as well as a cash bar, and NOBO Brewing Company taking over the beer taps.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Downtown Abacoa in Jupiter is hosting its annual Mega Bash for the Fourth of July.
The Mega Bash is the event of the summer and includes minor league baseball, cornhole tournaments, kid’s activities, food, drinks, patriotic programming, bounce houses, and of course fireworks.

Within the next two months, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum in Jupiter will be getting a new walking trail. The new 500-foot path will be made of gravel and is expected to be completed by the end of July or early August. The new path will lead to the water and shoreline.

The path will increase the area to public access, will have native plants species will be planted along the pathway to preserve the shorelines ecosystem, prevent erosion, to protect the cultural resources, and to provide more recreational activities in the community. The new project came about due to the increasing use of the slope near the cemetery located on the historic site. Dirt is expected to be delivered this week to start the project.

Next month a new mini golf course is set to open in downtown Abacoa in Jupiter. The 18-hole mini golf course is going to be called Golden Cub Mini Golf.

The course is designed by Nicklaus Design, a company founded and run by the retired professional golfer and Palm Beach County native Jack Nicklaus. The golf design company brought experts in to create a smaller version of a typical golf course. The mini golf course includes sloped grounds, landscaping and bunkers.

Scattered around throughout the course visitors will find giant yellow bears, which are inspired by Nicklaus’ nickname “the Golden Bear”. The golf course has partnered with Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation and for each full round of golf, $ 1 dollar will be donated to the foundation.

This upcoming weekend the Turtleman Triathlon will be taking place along the beaches of Jupiter and Juno Beach. Participants will ride down A1A along the beach, swim in the warm Atlantic Ocean, and run through Carlin Park. The triathlon is this upcoming Saturday, June 30th with check in starting at 5:30 am.

The triathlon includes two races, the Super Sprint and the Sprint. The Super Sprint distance is perfect for first timers. The Super Sprint includes a 300-yard swim, 1.2-mile run, and a 5-mile bike ride. Check out the course maps for the run, bike ride, and swim for the Super Sprint.

Every Friday, Palm Beach Garden’s outdoor shopping and lifestyle center hosts its weekly outdoor Summer Concert Series.

The free concert series features a mixed musical lineup of local bands playing everything from rock, pop, country, and everything in between. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts several Turtle Walk events throughout the year for visitors to learn and observe the egg laying and nesting process of sea turtles. During the event experienced Loggerhead Marinelife staff have set up a designated section of Juno Beach searching for sea turtles while the visitors get an informative presentation before they get to see for themselves.

Turtle Walks are $18 dollars per person and $15 dollars for Loggerhead Marinelife Center members. Walk in’s are welcome but a spot is not guaranteed. Tomorrow, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is hosting their 7th Annual Run 4 The Sea. The race is 4 miles long and begins at 7am, Saturday June 16th, and is open to runners and walkers. Following the start of the 4-mile run there will also be a 1-mile Kids Fun Run starting at 8:15 am.

The purpose of the run is to support and raise money for the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to provide rehabilitation to injured and endangered sea turtles and to promote the conservation of the ocean.
