The popular indoor cycling studio has returned to Palm Beach this season for another pop-up shop in the Royal Poinciana Plaza on Palm Beach Island.

The spin cycle studio is in its second trail in the area after the success of last year. The New York City based company returned to Palm Beach on November 20th and runs until March 31st for its Destination SOUL Pop-Up shop.

The company started 12 years ago as a way to help people get in shape without spending too much time working out. The company has locations in several states and major cities including Boston, New York City, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Austin, and Chicago.

The closet SoulCycle studio to Palm Beach County is in Miami with locations in Brickell, Miami Beach, and Coral Gables.

Every year the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center in Wellington hosts its Winter Equestrian Festival. The festival is the world’s premier equestrian event. The festival offers competitions for professional equestrians, adult, junior, and children amateur in 70 unique divisions.

The competition and festival runs for 12 weeks and participants range in age from 2 years to 70 years old with more than 6,000 horses and more than a half a billion dollars in prices. The festival is the longest and largest running horse show that only sees the best riders of their class from more than 42 countries.

For 17 days the South Florida Fair Grounds transforms into pure fun. The South Florida Fair is considered one of the top fairs in Florida filled with great food, rides, tribute bands, and much more. The Fair is coming to our area Friday, January 18th through Sunday, February 3rd.

The beloved Christmas movie is coming to the Harbourside Place Amphitheater tomorrow Friday, December 21st in Jupiter. 

The holiday favorite came out in 2003 and stars Will Ferrell, Bob Newhart, Zooey Deschanel and James Caan. The movie is about a baby boy that crawled into Santa’s bag at an orphanage in New York and travelled with him to the North Pole. The young boy was discovered at the end of the night at Santa’s workshop and was named Buddy and spent his childhood being raised by elves. The former Macy’s department store in CityPlace has transformed into the “Downton Abbey” exhibition based on the award-winning and extremely popular television series.

The entire space has transformed into scenes from the show and has been transported into post-Edwardian England featuring the beloved English castle, show sets including the servant’s quarters and Mrs. Patmore’s kitchen, characters exhibitions, costumes, and history of the time period and culture.

Downton Abbey: The Exhibition opened in West Palm Beach in early November and will be at CityPlace until April 22nd, 2019. The exhibit is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm with tickets available until 6 pm. Visitors are expected to spend sixty to ninety minutes exploring the space.

With two weeks off from school for the holidays many local museums, science centers and after care programs offer Holiday camps to keep the little ones occupied during their holiday break.

Here are some of the holiday camps happening around Palm Beach County this holiday season.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a full marine-science experience where kids will learn about the journey of the sea turtles and ocean conservation through their programs. The camp runs from Wednesday, December 26th through Friday, December 28th and then again Wednesday, January 2nd through Friday, January 4th from 9 am to 4 pm. This Friday, December 21st the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Lighthouse Moonrise Tour starting at 4:45 pm. Guests who attend will learn about the history of the Jupiter icon and enjoy evening views of Jupiter and the surrounding towns with a full moon in the sky.

The tour last approximately 75 minutes and tickets are required to attend the event. The cost is $25 dollars per person and $20 dollars for Lighthouse Members. Tickets can be purchase online or by calling 561-747-8380 extension 101. The tours are weather permitting, so check their website for updates. Children must be 48” inches tall to climb the tower’s 105 steps and must be accompanied by an adult.
