After nearly a year of waiting, the Covid-19 vaccine is out and ready for distribution. The challenge is finding a place to get it. And how to get it. Hospitals all over have had trouble getting adequate COVID-19 vaccine supplies, but Jupiter Medical Center is providing vaccines when they have them available.

Jupiter Medical Center is offering vaccines to residents of Palm Beach and Martin counties ages 18 to 64 with certain comorbidities. To schedule a vaccine, contact your physician.  Your doctor must submit the Physician Validation Form and provide the patient’s email address and cell phone number.  Then Jupiter Medical Center will contact eligible patients to schedule the vaccine when they have vaccine supply.

Jupiter Hills Club, 11800 SE Hill Club Terrace, is a private club and golf course in the Village of Tequesta juts past the Palm Beach/Martin County Line.  It is conveniently located between the Intracoastal Waterway and Jonathan Dickinson State Park. The Historic Jungle Trail winds for nearly 8 miles along a sandy road through the hammock habitat of Florida's barrier island north of Vero Beach in Martin County. The trail, really a hard-sandy road, and it is on the National Register of Historic Places. 

The historically significant trail was built in the 1920’s so that South Florida citrus growers could haul their produce up and down the barrier island.  The pathway ranges from Wabasso to the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. Taste is so subjective…however many agree that Northern Palm Beach County has great fried chicken places. The crispiness of the outer breaded covering is perhaps the most important factor in how the taste of fried chicken is perceived.

 Martin County locals know when it’s time to get outdoors and enjoy the bountiful fresh air. It’s happening at the 13th Annual Port Salerno Seafood Festival this Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00am- 8:00pm.  The festival assures us that “the fish is fresh, the beer is cold, and the smiles are always warm!”. 

The seafood festival began as a neighborhood fish fry and dock party along the waterfront of Port Salerno.  The Port Salerno community was amid a revitalization chapter during 2006.   A small group of concerned locals met at a fish fry hoping to bring positive awareness to the area’s historic commercial fishing trade and gather support for the community.
