The River Center in Jupiter is hosting their second annual Atala Butterfly Festival and Family Day this weekend. Head to the River Center this Saturday for the fun-filled event.

The Butterfly Festival celebrates the Atala Butterfly. The butterfly was once thought to be extinct, but the beautiful butterfly is local here in Jupiter and is thriving right in our own backyards.

The day’s events will include butterfly arts and crafts, a Native Plant sale, Native Plant seed harvesting, Tours of the River Center migratory bird and butterfly garden, and more.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend the 15th Annual Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival this weekend in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa. As in previous year’s the festival still aims to impress the festival goers.

The Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival features a large array of hand selected breweries showcasing their best craft brews for you to sample. The festival will feature a Silent Disco, performances by a 5-piece rock band Hot Pink, and the Food Shack Food Truck will be onsite for food and snacks.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: Monday, January 25th at 6 pm

Head to the lighthouse tonight and enjoy and peace and serenity of Yoga at sunset. The outdoor yoga class is taught by Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck. Beginners and all levels of yoga are welcomed to attend the class. Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats and a bottle of water. Registration is required due to limited space and the class costs $10 dollars to attend.

It was announced in December that the popular ArtiGras Art Festival held every winter will be moving back to Palm Beach Gardens. For the past 20 years, the annual art festival was held in Jupiter but due to construction, the festival is moving back to Palm Beach Gardens.

Recently, the festival organizers have announced that they are looking for volunteers to help partake in the weekend activities. The entirely outdoor festival is taking over the Gardens North County District Park the weekend of February 13th through February 14th, 2021.

Jupiter’s Abacoa hosts a weekly Open Air Dining every weekend throughout the winter. Dine outside along Town Center Drive in Jupiter at one of several restaurants located within Downtown Abacoa.

The Open-Air Weekends Dining Event will feature live music and great food in the streets this winter. Several restaurants move their tables outside and onto the street for the weekend event. The Open-Air Dining is every Friday and Saturday night beginning at 4 pm to 10 pm.

This weekend, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their annual Family Adventure Day. The fun filled day has been redesigned to create socially distant and funs ways to visit the Lighthouse grounds with activities and adventures.

Each child will receive a Youth Explorer Goodie Bag to begin the family adventure. The bag includes a pair of binoculars, coloring pages, a Lighthouse pencil, a ship-making kit, and clues to a special mystery scavenger hunt.

Throughout the day, families will be able to visit the museum, Lighthouse, Tindall Pioneer Homestead, Keeper’s Workshop, nature trails, and the historical grounds.
