Its that time of year again for the annual South Florida Fair. This year, the South Florida Fair is bringing everyone two fairs in 2021. The first fair which starts tomorrow January 15th through January 31st will be a mini fair and the full traditional fair will be held in May of this year.

The mini–South Florida Fair rolls into West Palm Beach this January 15th through 31st. The upcoming fair will be held outdoors and include the typical fair foods and beverages, a variety of local and tribute bands performing daily, shopping from local vendors, a giant sand sculpture, racing pigs, farm animals, rides, fair games, and much more.

Several local restaurants have teamed up together to participate in the first “Eat in for Education” event this January. The Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Restaurants and Lodging Association (FRLA) is hosting the virtual event to help support educational scholarships for local culinary and hospitality students. The event is scheduled to take place this January 20th and January 21st.

Fifteen local hotels and restaurants will participate by donating three-course takeout meals for the event. Diners will have a two-tier option to spend $50 or $100 dollars on a takeout meal for two. Palm Beach County residents are encouraged to participate and purchase these takeout meals to help benefit the event and help support local businesses.

Following the restaurant’s success in their Delray Beach location, Elisabetta’s Ristorante, Bar, and Pizzeria has opened a second location on the waterfront in downtown West Palm Beach. The waterfront restaurant opened to the public yesterday.

Jupiter’s Abacoa hosts a weekly Open Air Dining every weekend throughout the winter. Dine outside along Town Center Drive in Jupiter at one of several restaurants located within Downtown Abacoa.

The Open-Air Weekends Dining Event will feature live music and great food in the streets this winter. Several restaurants move their tables outside and onto the street for the weekend event. The Open-Air Dining is every Friday and Saturday night beginning at 4 pm to 10 pm.

Downtown Palm Beach Gardens has added a new outdoor fitness program that offers a fun, calorie burning ways to stay healthy. The outdoor shopping and lifestyle center is hosting two fitness classes this January as part of their Downtown Collective X Fitness class series.

 Head to the Downtown Park starting today, Tuesday, January 12th for outdoor Zumba with Jeanne. The Zumba classes are taught every Tuesday and Saturday morning at 9:30 am. Zumba is an exercise fitness program that combines music and movement to incorporate interval training with fast and slow rhythms. SoulCycle has returned to Palm Beach. The popular spin class has moved into the Royal Poinciana Plaza for its third year in a row for its new SoulOutside by SoulCycle series.

The outdoor spin classes begin just before Christmas on Wednesday, December 23rd and will continue for a few months. SoulCycle first started bringing their popular and energetic spin classes to Palm Beach three years ago as part of their DestinationSoul program. The program brought SoulCycle spin classes to areas where there is not a SoulCycle studio nearby. Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is bringing back their outdoor concert series on Friday and Saturday nights this January. The weekly concerts are free, and everyone is welcomed to attend.

The outdoor concerts feature a diverse musical lineup of regional and local bands playing everything from country, pop, jazz, rock, and everything in between. The concerts take place in the Center Court.

Before or after the concert, make sure to check out one of the several restaurants located at the Downtown for something to eat.
