The newly constructed and continuing to grow neighborhood in Palm Beach Gardens is set to get more shopping and dining options to their Town Center. Alton, location off of Donald Ross Road and east of Interstate 95, construction workers are busy getting everything together.

A PetSmart and a Publix have recently opened in the new area and residents are looking forward to more dining options and shops that are planning to open in the next couple of months.

Tomorrow night, the Village of Tequesta is hosting their reoccurring Food Truck Pow Wow at Constitution Park starting at 5 pm. 

The Food Truck Pow Wow is a great way to come and mingle with your local neighbors to enjoy great music and food.

The giant outdoor picnic will feature food trucks from around the area and will feature different cuisines, comfort foods, desserts, and specialties.
If you are planning on attending, make sure to bring folding chairs, and or blankets to create your own picnic on the grass. This family friendly event occurs every in Tequesta until April. September is National Hunger Action Month, and the Palm Beach County Food Bank is hosting "A Magical Night to Fight Hunger" to raise money and awareness for hungry local families. 

The evening includes a 3-course dinner with an appetizer, main dish and dessert provided by downtown restaurants including Yard House and Avocado Grill. There will be a strolling magician and other special surprises for guests. 

The PBC Food Bank collects and gives food to local soup kitchens, food pantries and homeless shelters. Last year, those groups gave out close to 5 million pounds of food to needing families in Palm Beach County, but there’s a nearly 55-million-pound shortfall between what the food bank distributes and what’s needed for local residents to have…
