The grand estate is one of the most famous landmarks and homes on Palm Beach Island. The Flagler Museum, formally known as Whitehall, is a grand estate that features more than 100,000 square feet filled with some of the most important Palm Beach history.

The home was commission by the American Industrialist Henry Flagler as a wedding gift to his wife Mary. Flagler, the founder of Standard Oil commissioned John Carrere and Thomas Hastings to build and design the grand estate. Twilight Yoga at The Light: Monday, August 24th and Monday, August 31st

Tonight, and next Monday, the Lighthouse is hosting their weekly Twilight Yoga at the Light event. Come and enjoy the serenity of Yoga on the Lighthouse Deck and watch the sunset over the water.  All levels are yoga are welcomed to attend the class. The Town of Jupiter and City of Palm Beach Gardens have teamed up together for a new virtual fitness challenge called Ignite the Fight. The virtual challenge allows North County residents to get outside and stay active and healthy with some friendly competitions all while support a good cause.

Ignite the Fight challenges our communities to compete a 5K or 3.1 miles of running, walking, hiking, swimming, or rowing anywhere and anytime during the month of October. Registration for the event is now open to reserve your space in the virtual event.

Amazon is coming to Jupiter, the large company with millions of goods announced this week that they are planning on building a giant fulfillment center in northern Palm Beach County. The online shopping giant plans to build a one million square foot facility and the new facility will create hundreds of new full-time jobs.

The new Jupiter location will be Amazon’s third fulfillment center in Palm Beach County. The company announced last month of building a delivery station in Boca Raton and last year, Amazon opened their 96,000 square foot delivery warehouse west of the turnpike in West Palm Beach.  In addition to the news of the new Jupiter location, Amazon announced that the online company plans on opening a retail store in The Gardens Mall.

This August, The Loggerhead Marinelife Center located in Juno Beach hosts their daily Public Evening Guided Tours. The tours are offered every night and take visitors on an after-hours tour of the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. Visitors will get an up-close opportunity to see the Marinelife and sea turtles housed in the center.

The Public Evening Guided Tours are open to the public and all are welcomed to attend. The tours last approximately an hour long. The tours are led by the educational experts and staff of the Marinelife Center to answer all of your questions about the sea turtles and Marinelife.
