Ever wonder why Americans set off fireworks on the Fourth of July?  It is understood that the very first Independence Day celebration, held in Philadelphia on July 4, 1777, colonists were still at war against Britain.  Even though the country was still amidst the Revolutionary War against Britain, citizens came together to watch their new nation's sky illuminated in a grand display meant to raise spirits.

Swing by any of the Palm Beach County area fireworks shops and purchase legal firecrackers to set off and show your appreciation of this great nation!
