The incorporated village of North Palm Beach is located in northern Palm Beach County along the intracoastal waterways and the Atlantic Ocean. The quite village has won an award in 1956 from the National Association of Home Builders as the best planned community. The village is home to about 13,000 residents as of 2017.

The North Palm Beach area was developed in the 1950’s by John D. MacArthur, a philanthropist. The village known for its golfing and famous PGA Tour residents is also home to the only state park in Palm Beach County.

The River Center in Jupiter and the United States Coast Guard team up several times a year to provide a number of Boating Safety classes. The boating safety classes are aimed for young boaters in the area, but all are welcomed to attend to learn how to navigate the waterways.

The safety class are provided by the AustinBlu Foundation, a non-profit that is dedicated to raising awareness about safety on the water and to promote education programs.

The cost to attend the class is free, however a deposit is required to reserve your spot in the class. The deposit of $10 dollars will be refunded in full to all who attend the class.

The final countdown for the Miami International Boat Show is just days away from one of the world’s largest and greatest boat shows of the year. Thursday, February 14th is the opening day for more than 3000 boats and yachts on display both in the water and on land.

The show features thousands of the newest and best sailboats, powerboats, electronics, marine accessories, demonstrations, food and beverages, and engines from more than 2000 manufactures and vendors. At the show this upcoming weekend, there will be everything from personal watercrafts, performance boats, sport fishers, and mega yachts for you to come onboard and take a look at. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is open 7 days a week and hosts a series of events throughout the week. The iconic red lighthouse has been part of Jupiter’s history since its construction in 1853.

Twilight Yoga at the Light: Monday February 11th, 18th, and 25th
Come and join in on the ultimate yoga class outside underneath the stars and lighthouse. Mary Veal will be teaching yoga at sunset every Monday at 6 pm. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Family Adventure Day series on Saturday, February 16th from 10 am to 1 pm.

Family Adventure Days are part of the Lighthouse’s new series that is aimed for families and features family activities, sea-inspired and educational events, and adventures about Florida’s history. Next Saturday the event will be featured around Keepers and Life Savers. The day will include arts and crafts, games, story-telling, hands on activities and water and rescue demonstrations.

Get ready for the fourth annual Palm Beach Paddle Fest next Saturday, February 9th. The Paddle Fest is a free family event taking place at Harbourside Place in Jupiter.

The 2019 Manatee Lagoon Festival is back again this weekend. The ManateeFest kicks off tomorrow Friday, February 1st with a Movie Night Kickoff.
