Head to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum every Monday night to enjoy the outdoor Twilight Yoga at the Light.

Enjoy the serenity and relaxation of Yoga with your friends at sunset. The class is taught by Yoga instructor Mary Veal and the class is every Monday night. All levels of yoga are welcomed to attend. You are asked to bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and flashlight.

The classes are weather dependent, and you are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes early and meet at the Museum’s flagpole where you will be taken to the Lighthouse Deck for the class.

The class costs $10 dollars per person.

Next weekend, The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Hike Through History event.

Join the Lighthouse staff and your Jupiter neighbors for a 2-mile hike through the 120-acre Outstanding Natural Area on the grounds of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The hike is open to both children ages 5 and up and adults, those 13 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older.

The program is designed to explore through nature and discover Jupiter’s history. Hiking gear such as hiker footwear, active wear, a hat and a water bottle or canteen should be worn and carried during the journey.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, second only to skin cancer. According to the 2019 U.S. Breast Cancer Statistics issued by Breastcancer.org an estimated 268,600 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 62,930 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer. About 2,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2019.

Stretching more than a mile along Jupiter Island, the Blowing Rocks Preserve is a tall limestone terrace that dominates the meeting of sand and sea. It’s the longest and possibly most dramatic stretch of rocky shoreline in Florida. 

The Blowing Rocks Preserve was established by local residents in 1969 and then turned over to The Nature Conservancy. Today the preserve protects 73 acres of Jupiter Island, ranging from the namesake rocks to sensitive estuarine habitats, mangroves, tropical and oak hammocks, and the beach dunes.

Peanut Island is not only great for swimming, snorkeling and fishing, but you can camp on this beautiful eighty-acre park too.

Peanut Island is located in the Intracoastal Waterway near the Lake Worth Inlet, close to Phil Foster Park, the city of Riviera Beach and the Port of Palm Beach. If you do not have your own transportation to the Island, don’t fret, the Peanut Island Shuttle Boat can get you there. The shuttle runs 7 days a week every 20 minutes from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
