Jupiter and several other beach towns in Palm Beach County and Martin County have made the list for the "50 Best Beach Towns To Live In" according to WalletHub. The survey and study compared and rated beach towns across the United States.

Every beach town has its pros and cons, and the ratings were based on six categories for the study. The categories were weather, safety, affordability, education, health, and quality of life. The towns and cities ranged in population and most cities and towns on the list are in the state of California or Florida. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is a non-profit sea turtle hospital, rehabilitation, and Research Center. The first "Friends of Jupiter Beach" beach cleanup is slated for this Saturday January 15th from 8:00 A.M.  to 10:00 A.M. at Ocean Cay Park in Jupiter. Volunteers and supporters of the environment are invited to meet at the Anita Lankler Pavilion. The beach cleanup helps maintain our beaches for generations to come.
