Recently the Palm Beach Post announced the winners of their latest Reader’s Choice Award for top Brunch Spots in Palm Beach County.  The top five restaurants cover the quaint Village of Tequesta to West Palm Beach.

Top on the list is Ocean Bleu, a neighborhood bistro in Tequesta.  Locally inspired dishes are created by Turkish Chef and Owner,  Levent Yurdatap. The one day out of the year where dogs can chill out,  play, swim and get chased and take a bath at The Square Grouper Jupiter Inlet in Jupiter, Florida.  

For another year, on Saturday, May 7 dogs are welcomed to enjoy a great swim and enjoy a loving wash & dry and have a refreshing drink!

The Square Grouper Dog Wash is organized by Jupiter- Tequesta supporting Operation Care For Heroes Military K9 Campaign. A Kong Toy will be sent to the Dog troops overseas. All proceeds will be benefitting The United States War Dogs Association, Inc., which is a nonprofit organization supporting all military K-9s and their handlers all around the globe.

The property located at 16133 Jupiter Farms Road in Jupiter has a lengthy past. The 150+-acre ranch is alleged to have been a hideout for crime boss Al Capone and his associates in the 1920’s. The notorious Chicago gangster built the original home in 1923.  Capone also took the name of Al Brown and lived in a tiny home in West Jupiter off Italian Farms Road (now Jupiter Farms Road).  West Jupiter and West Palatka were the moonshine capitals of the world when Capone was in Jupiter.  Capone preferred spending time in Miami, near the action and the beach.  The Chicago mob boss moved south to Miami in 1928 and acquired a beachfront home.  Capone died in South Florida in 1947.
