The Lighthouse Cove mini-golf course will be a 36-hole facility located in Jupiter and is expected to open in the fall.

Land clearing has begun on the vacant 2-acre property on the east side of State Road A1A, across the street from the Jupiter River Park mobile home park. Located just north of Jupiter Beach Road, the facility will also feature a 2,000 square foot, two-story building that will have a restaurant and ice cream store in it. In addition, there is also a plan in the works for an 8,000 square foot preserve area on the property.

The mini-golf facility is said to fit the “funky fishing village” feel that the town is trying to create along A1A between U.S. 1 and Jupiter Beach Road. The complex will be open seven days a week from 10am to 10pm and…

When the fourth quarter started last night the Miami Heat found themselves in a spot that they were seldom in during the regular season but had come all too familiar with in the post season: down and pressing.

Down 3-2 in the series and entering the fourth quarter down ten points, Lebron James had 12 minutes left to make sure the San Antonio Spurs did not celebrate on the floor of the American Airlines Arena.  Dwayne Wade had 12 minutes left to stage a comeback and force a game seven. And, Chris Bosh had 12 minutes left to save their season.

They had battled all year to defend their trophy. 82 games in the regular season, another 15 games in the postseason, and thanks to some late game heroics at the end of regulation and overtime they will have one…
