Students from four local Palm Beach County schools have been chosen to learn at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts for the 2017-2018 program of “Disney Musicals in Schools”.

The center announced that they have received this grant from Disney in collaboration with educators to bring theater programs to local students in the community. The program is an outreach developed by Disney’s Theatrical Productions to help create sustainable theater programs to elementary schools.

The four schools selected are Egret Lake Elementary (West Palm Beach), Glade View Elementary (Belle Glade), Forest Park Elementary (Boynton Beach), and Starlight Cove Elementary (Lantana). These four schools will participate in a 17-week musical theater residency starting in…

Along the sandy shores in Juno Beach every year between March and October, thousands of sea turtles lie eggs in the sand. The sea turtles nest roughly contains about 100 eggs that require roughly between 45 to 60 days before they start hatching. Join Carlin Park this Saturday August 26th, in Jupiter for the 3rd Annual Hang 20 Surf Dog Classic!

This family friendly event will be filled with food, kids’ activities, vendors, live music and surfing dogs. This community favorite event had over 2000 attendees last year and this year they are hoping to exceed that number.

The Lighthouse in Jupiter is hosting a Sunset Tour event to take in the wonderful views and sunset reflecting off the town and ocean.

The event is scheduled to take place Wednesday August 23rd, 2017 around 7:15 pm, weather permitting. During the tour, visitors will get to climb the stairs and take a look inside the Lighthouse’s watch room with a chance to see the light turn on and to experience how everything works.

The tour is approximately an hour and 15 minutes long. Tickets and reservations are required to reserve your spot. The tickets are $15 dollars for members and $20 dollars for non-members. Children are welcomed and must be at least 48" to climb the Lighthouse tower.
