Norton Museum Expansion Opening Soon

The new expansion for the Norton Museum is set to unveil its $100 million-dollar expansion on February 9th. The expansion will have 37 percent more gallery space and the architect is the same man, Lord Norman Foster, that designed the Apple headquarters in California.
The new design incorporates a lot of glass in its design and returns the museum to its original east and west axis. The entrance has been moved and visitors will now be able to enter on Dixie Highway near the giant 19-foot tall typewriter eraser sculpted by Coosje Van Bruggen and Claes Oldenburg in 1999. The museum is located at 1450 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach.

The Grandview Farmer’s Market will be open every Saturday from 9AM to 2PM and feature certified organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, meats, fish, and eggs from small regional farmers, fishmongers, and craftsman.
