Just because we live in sunny, South Florida doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a snowy holiday! Every night, City Place in West Palm Beach turns into a winter wonderland with a beautiful snowfall. 

This has been a beautiful tradition put on by City Place for years and it sure draws a crowd. Each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 6 pm and 7pm the snow will begin cascading down onto the plaza. Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday the snowfall will take place at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.

Almost 3 feet of snow floats down at each hourly snowfall, which is, even more snowfall than what falls on Central Park in New York. City Place uses a special MagicSnow technology that creates incredibly real snow, never producing two identical snowflakes.

The former Jai Alai Fronton at Mangonia Park in West Palm Beach has been selected for a new, $500 million business and technology center. The center is the vision of Victor Palacios, a former real estate broker and businessman. Palacios said his Palm Beach Business and Technology Center would feature businesses and vocational schools as well as a K-12 charter school, a cultural center, a sports venue, some retail and dining, and even a hotel.

The Mangonia Park, a 53 acre piece of land on 45th street that has been owned by boxing promoter, Don King since 1999. The land has been vacant and unused since 1994. It has been appraised by the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser and was given a market value of nearly $7million.

This Saturday on the beautiful, glistening waterfront of Downtown West Palm Beach is the 2nd annual Feast of the Sea Seafood Festival. For seafood lovers in south Florida, This festival is one you wont want to miss! 

Beginning at 11 am on Saturday, October 24th the top restaurants from around Palm Beach will deliver their best seafood based dishes. There will be over 35 seafood vendors, 60 art vendors, an interactive family area presented by South Florida Science Center & Aquarium, live music and a wide variety of adult beverages for your enjoyment.

The beautiful and mesmerizing gardens at the Mounts Botanical Gardens in West Palm Beach can be duplicated in your own backyard. Mounts and its staff of botanical and gardening professionals are offering a series of classes exploring the basics of horticulture and garden design.
