Attention all automobile enthusiasts! Palm Beach Outlets, 1751 Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, West Palm Beach, has announced the return of Cars and Coffee.  The first Cars and Coffee will be on Sunday, August 15, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Cars and Coffee is a free meet-and-greet featuring exotic cars, classic rides, custom builds, muscle cars, and more.

The car show will offer a wide assortment of merchants, giveaways, and additional surprises throughout the Cars and Coffee event. The Palm Beach Outlets’ retailers and restaurants will have early access shopping before 11 a.m.

The Lord’s Place Joshua Thrift Store ,7600 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach held its grand reopening on Monday, August 9, 2021.  The thrift store closed temporarily after a fire in March this year. The stores provide an opportunity for formerly homeless clients to complete customer service work experience training in a retail setting.

Stocked with furniture, household decor, small kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware, and clothing, the store will be open to the public Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is closed on Sunday. Masks are required for entry.

For an inexpensive excursion take the kids to the Palm Beach Zoo during the month of August.  The zoo will be offering free admission for kids 12 and younger during the month of August. This offer, two free child admissions per full-price adult ticket, is valid when they are accompanied by a paying adult.  Children under 3 are always free.

The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens in West Palm Beach is work in partnership with the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County to host “The Power and Pleasure of Artistic Place: Where Women Made History,” a special free exhibition on display at the Cultural Council’s Lake Worth Beach gallery to August 27, 2021.  “Where Women Made History,” is a nationwide campaign to identify, honor, and enhance places across the country where women have changed their communities and the world. Downtown West Palm Beach's Clematis Street interactive fountains summer show will run between July 8 – August 29, 2021. For over 25 years, the Centennial Fountains at Centennial Square has been an iconic landmark.  It is a place for the community to gather, for interactive play, for the young and young at heart to cool off and splash around.
