As the dog days of summer wind down and the kids are back at school, it’s the perfect opportunity to allow furry family members to have a special pool, and play day. Not much further south in Broward County there are two splashy water play parks, which are going to the dogs. Both pool parks are normally people-only. For the K-9 events, proof of rabies vaccine and license tag is required. Dogs need to be well-behaved and off-leash.

The popular water park is reopening for the summer season this Saturday, March 9th. Rapids Rivers Water Park is the largest water park in all of South Florida with more than 30 acres of waterslides, pools, and much more. This year the park is celebrating its 40th Anniversary.

The water park features 35 water slides ranging in all levels of intensity. Some of the water slides include rafts that can hold up to six people at a time. The fun water park includes a kid’s zone, surfing, body boarding, a lazy river, food and drinks, and souvenirs just to name a few. The park also can accommodate and hosts special events, parties, school trips, and cabana rentals are available to rent throughout the day.
