Southeast Florida more manufacturers are showing off customized green appliances, including stove, ovens, refrigerators, and toasters. It is not your Mother’s green kitchen though. Remember those 1970s avocado-green appliances? They may not be looking so outdated nowadays. Variations of green are back in style in the kitchen, and appliances are among the trends.

Besides appliances, another trend is emerging green cabinetry. Many designers have called green cabinetry, on a large or small scale, a rising trend in 2021. The second annual Roots and Ruts Off Road 5K and Family Fun Run is back again and will be happening this Saturday, April 24th.  The Els for Autism Foundation started the event to raise awareness and to celebrate April Autism Awareness Month.

The event will take place at the North Jupiter Flatwoods, the first certified autism-friendly trail in Florida. The trail will serve as both a fundraiser to support Autism Awareness and to celebrate the strides our community has taken and continues to take to bring awareness and acceptance.

Celebrate this Earth Day with a Nature Walk hosted by The River Center in Jupiter. Gather your hiking gear and head to the Pine Glades Natural Area this Thursday, April 22nd for a Nature Walk on Earth Day.

The hike will include walks along the guided paths of the natural area. The hike will include journeys on both unpaved and paved terrain. Those interested in participating in the hike are encouraged to wear closed toed shoes, long pants, comfortable clothing, and bring plenty of water. Bug spray and a flashlight are recommended.

A 30-year-old Boynton Beach man claimed the $2 million top prize from the $10 MONOPOLY BONUS SPECTACULAR scratch-off game, Florida Lottery said in a news release. The winner chose to receive his prize in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1.615 million. He claimed his prize using a secured drop box at Florida Lottery's West Palm Beach district office.
