Vegan For Beginners is an online workshop live on Saturday, June 19, 202, at 5:00 p.m. for a cooking first!  At the workshop you learn the basics and then watch the meal being prepared.

With more people in Jupiter and Tequesta interested in vegan/plant-based eating. Some are just curious, some want to sample vegan eating, and some are ready to become total vegans. Both ZOOM events will introduce you to the vegan lifestyle.

Martin County is boosting with numerous things to do and family activities but recently Martin County has made the list for the “Top US Summer Fishing Destinations for 2021”. The area was ranked number one on the list of the “Top 7 US Summer Fishing Destinations” according to FishingBooker, an online marketplace and blog for booking yacht charters and recreational fishing.

Register now for the Hometown Heroes Mini Golf Classic at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach.  This is part of the Hometown Hero Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 19th from 9am -3pm.    Participants must register in advance. There are a total of 18 foursomes available to participate.

One of South Florida’s most popular Independence Day celebrations, the 4th on Flagler is returning to in person celebrations after last year’s celebrations were held virtually. West Palm Beach City officials announced yesterday the popular Palm Beach County event is returning and fireworks will light up the sky to celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 4th.

This 4th of July head down to downtown West Palm Beach for a grand firework display and the holiday celebrations. The 4th on Flagler will feature refreshments, live entertainment, the inaugural Bill Bone 5K, a patriotic salute, a car show, and a spectacular fireworks display over the intracoastal just after 9 pm to finish the night.

The popular Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is hosting a new Summer Concert Series every Friday evening beginning this June through the end of August. The new Concert Series will be held outdoors at the newly remodeled Downtown Park.

The outdoor summer concerts begin at 7 pm on Friday nights and restaurants located within the Downtown are joining in on the series and offering special dining deals and discounts. The bands performing are local and regional bands playing the latest hits, rock, jazz, pop, reggae, soul, country, and everything in between.

The City of Boynton Beach offers an exhibit of kinetic art by 17 talented sculptors through the end of 2021. The free display is geared to really “move” you!  You will be in awe of these fascinating mobile works of art. This exhibit is located along 100 East Ocean Avenue in Boynton Beach and includes three permanent, fixed sculptures.   

Pick up your self-guided tour maps available at the City Hall lobby. There is also an outdoor exhibit map in Town Square in Downtown Boynton Beach.  Kinetic art is defined as art, such as sculpture or collection, having mechanical parts which can be set into motion.
