The Town of Jupiter is once again planning to bring some holiday cheer to families this year since the traditional holiday events may look a littler different this year. The Town of Jupiter Recreation Staff came up with the idea to release Holiday Activity boxes for Thanksgiving and the Christmas holiday.

Beginning today, Monday, November 9th, the Thanksgiving Holiday Activity box is available to purchase online or at the Jupiter Community Center.  The town released a Halloween Activity Box that was a huge success, and they are hoping Thanksgiving and Winter Fun Box will be even better.

Little Moir’s Food Shack in Jupiter is known for its inspired fresh fish dishes and live music, but this Sunday they’re using their culinary gifts for a greater good.

On Sunday, November 4th from 5-8 pm, Food Shack will be hosting a night with dinner, drinks, live music, a silent auction, and raffles to fundraise for other families who may not be able to afford a large Thanksgiving.

Tickets are $85, and 100% of ticket sales and proceeds will go to Merciful Heavens of Jupiter, Florida. The non-profit provides families in need with a gift of 35 pounds of fresh food just in time for Thanksgiving including turkey, potatoes, corn, beans, onions, apples, cranberry, broth, stuffing, and pumpkin pie.
