The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a unique program that allows the public to adopt a sea turtle from their sea turtle rehabilitation and research center. The Adaptation Program helps to benefit the continued care for sick and injured sea turtles. The program helps provide food, medications, hospital care, and tank maintenance required for their care while at the center. 

The beaches in our area are popular every March through October during the Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Along the 9.5 miles of sand, thousands of sea turtles lay their eggs in the sand making Juno Beach one of the most populated nesting areas in the world. Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa is home to two Minor League Baseball Teams, the Jupiter Hammerheads, and the Palm Beach Cardinals. The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is located on Main Street in Jupiter. 

The stadium is home to two Major League Baseball Teams during their Spring Training. The stadium is home to The Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts a variety of events every day.  The sea turtle research and rehabilitation center added Rescue to Release Virtual Theater Show every day that has become a popular event. 

The event is a virtual realty experience that allows visitors to follow a sea turtles journey from rescue to release back into the ocean. The narrated event uses virtual reality headsets that takes visitors through real action scenes of a sea turtle being rescued, through the hospital and rehabilitation process, and being released back into the ocean. 

The event costs $5 dollars per person and the event is recommended those 8 years old and up.

Every Wednesday in the month of June, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their weekly Five Flags Over Jupiter Inlet Event. The event includes a guided tour to learn about the rich military history of the Jupiter Lighthouse. 

The Five Branches of the United States Armed Forces have contributed more than 150 years to the history of the iconic red lighthouse. 

Space is limited to 20 people per week and those who attend will learn about how the Army constructed the Lighthouse before the Civil War, the history of a WWII Naval Building, personal stories of the Coast Guard Lighthouse Keepers, and much more. 

The event is free with the purchase of general admission.
