The Coronavirus vaccine  is available at Publix pharmacies.  The goal is to provide you up-to-date information on how to get your vaccine at select Publix pharmacies if you are eligible, while supplies last. Vaccination appointments are scheduled online only. Appointments cannot be made by calling Publix or the Publix Pharmacy.

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 18, 2021. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister and social rights activist in the United States in the 1950s and ’60s. He was a leader of the American civil rights movement. He organized several peaceful protests as leader of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, including the March on Washington in 1963. Dr. King led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination in 1968.

For most of the year Floridians are able to enjoy the beach, warm weather and sandals but when the cooler temperatures come through it is a celebration for the locals. A cold front passing through the state will bring cool weather throughout the week.

These past few days the weather has had a crisp chill in the air. If you are a common beach goer you may have spotted your fellow beach walkers out enjoying the weather but with an extra layer of clothing.
