The Wild Dolphin Camp hosted by the Under Blue Waters Foundation is all the rage for Jupiter kids these days! It is an incredible camp for kids ages 8-15 who are passionate about the oceans and all they behold.

The Taurids meteor shower will be falling over south Florida this week. The Taurids shower is not necessarily known for being the most explosive meteor shower in the cosmos but what it is known for is a astronomical phenomena, fireballs.

All Taurids are debris from the comet Encke, which is named after German astronomer Johan Franz Encke, who discovered it in 1786.”

This time of year is sea turtle nesting season in Florida. The majestic sea turtles make their way out of the ocean and onto shore to lay their eggs. During the summer months, Jupiter becomes a safe haven for nesting turtles that have been coming to lay their eggs on these beaches for hundreds of years.

The town makes a great effort to change all of the beach road lighting to an ambient red color that will not disturb the turtles and prevent them from coming ashore to nest. The traffic lights get a special filter that makes the light only noticeable to cars driving along the road and the correct angle and of course there are strict rules observers must follow when it comes to watching the turtles nest. You may come to the beach to watch the turtles…
