The Roger Dean Stadium in Downtown Abacoa is home to two professional baseball teams for their Spring Training and home to two Minor League and two Rookie baseball teams.

The stadium is the only stadium in the country to host two Minor League teams and two Rookie Level teams, The Jupiter Hammerheads, Palm Beach Cardinals, Gulf Coast Marlins and the Gulf Coast Cardinals. The two Major League teams that share the stadium for Spring Training include the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins.

This weekend the stadium is hosting three Minor League baseball games.

Friday, May 3rd the Palm Beach Cardinals will be playing the Fort Myers Miracles at 6: 30 pm.
Saturday, May 4th the Palm Beach Cardinals will be playing the Fort Myers Miracles at 5:30 pm.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is set to embark in the next phase of its expansion, five years after the last expansion. The doors closed after its last sold out production of “West Side Story” on April 15th.

The expansion is set to be completed in three different sections. The first section will include improvements to the parking lot by adding 30 to 40 more parking spaces, landscaping, additional curb cutouts and bringing more power to the building for the second phase of the expansion.

The theater will remain open and fully operational during the construction for upcoming limited engagements and summer productions. Construction for phase 1 is expected to be completed before the first production of the 2019/2020 season in the fall.

Jupiter’s Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is teaming up with Palm Beach Improv and some local breweries to bring you an all new event called Brew Ha Ha.

This Saturday, April 27th the stadium will be filled with craft beers, a comedy and of course baseball. In addition to the Brew Ha Ha, the Jupiter Hammerheads versus the Dunedin Blue Jays baseball game at 5:30 pm.

Brew Ha Ha will feature a 2-hour long craft beer tasting filled with over 75 different unique flavored craft beers from all over South Florida and the country. Plus, the event will feature a 45-minute comedy show brought to you by some of the comedians from Palm Beach Improv.

Jupiter’s newest waterfront event venue is now open. The Pelican Club located along the Jupiter Inlet with direct views of the iconic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

Several times a year, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts their Paint N Drink parties. The Paint with a Purpose events benefit the ocean conservation and sea turtle research and rehabilitation center.

Paint N Drink is a mobile painting party planner that aims to bring fun and entertainment to everyone, no artistic experience is required to participate.

All are welcomed to attend and the class costs $25 dollars plus tax, per person. The cost of the class covers all of the supplies needed and the instructions of what will be painted. The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting two Lighthouse tours this week. This Wednesday, April 17th, the lighthouse is hosting their reoccurring Lighthouse Sunset Tour and on Friday, April 19th the lighthouse is hosting their Lighthouse Moonrise Tour.

Lighthouse Sunset Tour:
Climb to the top of the lighthouse this Wednesday night and take in the spectacular view of Jupiter, the ocean and the incredible Florida sunset. The Town of Jupiter is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th at the Jupiter Community Park softball fields. Join in on the fun of hunting and collecting as many Easter eggs as you can.

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary “Flotilla 52” and The Loxahatchee River Center in Jupiter get together a few times a year to provide boating safety courses. The classes are aimed for young boaters, but all are welcomed to attend who wish to learn more about boating and water safety.

The classes are provided by the AustinBlu Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and promote educational programs and water safety.

The class is free, however there is a $10-dollar deposit required to hold and reserve a spot. The deposit will be returned in full at the end of the class.
