The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Twilight Yoga at the Light several times this June. 

Come and experience the relaxation and serenity of Yoga on the Lighthouse Deck while watching the sunset and overlooking the water. The yoga class is taught by Mary Veal and all levels of yoga are encouraged and welcomed to attend. 

The class cost $10 dollars per person and you are asked to bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and a flashlight. The class will meet 10 minutes prior to the class start time. The classes are weather permitting so be sure to check their website for more information. 

The class starts at 7 pm and last approximately an hour.

Tonight, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting its weekly Twilight Yoga at the Light.

Come and experience Yoga with Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset. The event occurs every Monday unless otherwise noted. The Yoga class is for all levels of yoga and all are welcomed and encouraged to join in.

The class costs $10 dollars per person and you are asked to bring your own yoga mat, a water bottle, and a flashlight. The class starts at 7 pm tonight and you are asked to meet 10 minutes prior to the start of the class at the Lighthouse Museum.

This Wednesday, May 8th, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Mother’s Day Blooms event to benefit the Jupiter Lighthouse.

Bring your sister, mom, or best friend to the event to celebrate the special day with a fun filled flower workshop. At the event you’ll learn how to make your own flower arrangements and will be able to take home your flower arrangement at the end of the event. A light afternoon tea will be served.

The event starts at 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm in the lighthouse’s Quarterdeck Room. Tickets are $65 dollars per person and a portion of your ticket price will be donated to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum.

Jupiter’s newest waterfront event venue is now open. The Pelican Club located along the Jupiter Inlet with direct views of the iconic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

The Lessling’s Hospitality Group picked Jupiter as their located for their next high-end venue destination because of its prime location and scenic view. The Hospitality Group has a large portfolio of event high- end event venues from New York down to Jupiter and cater to more than 1,200 weddings a year.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is having their Inaugural Luminary Luncheon on Tuesday, April 16th at 12 pm.

The luncheon is hosted by the Lighthouse Luminaries who are ambassadors for the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. The Luminaries meet socially to promote and fundraise for the preservation for the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse and other buildings onsite.

The proceeds raised from the luncheon will support the painting of their interior and exterior of the Lighthouse which takes place every 10 years.
The Luncheon is taking place Tuesday, April 16th from 12 pm to 2:30 pm at new The Pelican Club located at 1065 North Highway A1A in Jupiter. The Honorary Co-Chairs for the event are Joe Namath and Charles Modica.

Lighthouses have guided mariners along Florida’s coast for centuries. Many do not know that Florida is home to 30 historic lighthouses, many of them are nearly a century old themselves with the oldest dating back to 1838. There were several others but over the years have fallen victim to erosion, fires, storms, and demolition.

The lighthouses range in height from 28 feet high to 175 feet high, almost half of the remaining historic lighthouses in Florida are over 100 feet tall. The Lighthouses are now operated by the Coast Guard but that wasn’t always the case. The federal Lighthouse Service and the Coast Guard merged in 1939 and today many of the Lighthouses have been preserved and are open to the public to tour and visit.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Lighthouse Moonrise Tour this Wednesday, March 20th at 6:45 pm.

Guests who attend the Moonrise Tour will learn about the history of the Jupiter Lighthouse while enjoying the views of Jupiter and the full moon in the sky. The tour lasts approximately 75 minutes and the tours are weather permitting. Be sure to check their website for more information for updates.

The tour costs $25 dollars per person and $20 dollars per person for Lighthouse Members. Tickets are required and can be purchased online. All are welcomed to attend, and children must be at least 48 inches tall to climb the 105 steps to the top of the tower.

This Saturday, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Family Adventure Day: Celebrating Seminole Culture.

The Family Adventure Days are history inspired education and adventures to celebrate the unique culture of the Seminole Tribe in Florida. The waterfront activities are fun and educational for all ages. The morning will be filled with storytelling, demonstrations, games, activities, and arts and crafts at the iconic Lighthouse.

The event has partnered with the Ah-tah-thi-ki Museum for the day. All materials will be provided for the event. Guests are asked to bring their own picnic lunch to enjoy on the Lighthouse lawn overlooking the Jupiter Inlet.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting two events this Wednesday, March 13th, Hiking with Young Explorers and the Lighthouse Sunset Tour.

Hiking with Young Explorers: The staff of the lighthouse invites both young explorers and parents to their nature hike of the North Trail. The hike is led by Sophia Fonseca, the lighthouse site’s Natural Resource Specialist. She will lead the hike through the scrub and identify the animal tracks and how the animals move around. The next hike is this Wednesday, March 10th at 9 am. The hike last approximately an hour and attendees are asked to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and a snack if needed. The hike will begin at the North Trail. Parking is available at the north parking lot or the grass nearby.…

On Mondays, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their weekly Twilight Yoga At The Light. The class welcomes all levels of Yoga and attendees get to experience the serenity of yoga on the Lighthouse deck, under the big banyan tree with the sun setting in the background.

The yoga class is taught by Mary Veal, from Kula Yoga Shala, located in Jupiter. During the outdoor yoga class there is no music, no harsh lights, just the soothing sounds of the water and nature.
