This May, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum has two remaining Lighthouse Sunset Tours. On Wednesday nights, the Lighthouse invites the public to attend a tour of the lighthouse at sunset.

Climb to the top of the Lighthouse Towers and witness the incredible sunset views of Jupiter. Those who attend the tour will get a chance to witness the Light turn on and illuminate the sky as well as get a sneak peek inside the Lighthouse Watchroom to see how everything works.

The Lighthouse Sunset Tours last approximately an hour and cost $25 dollars per person or $20 dollars per Lighthouse Members. Children are welcomed to attend the tour and must be 48 inches tall to climb the 105 steps to the top of the Lighthouse and be accompanied by an adult.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting three Lighthouse Sunset Tours this May. At Sunset, climb to the top of the iconic red lighthouse and take in the spectacular sunset views over Jupiter.

During the Lighthouse Sunset Tour, guests will get a sneak peek inside the Lighthouse Watchroom to see how everything works. Guests will even be able to witness the light turn on and illuminate the sky during the tour.

The tours last approximately one hour and all are welcomed to attend. Children must be 48 inches tall and accompanied by an adult to climb the Lighthouse Tower. Those attending the Sunset Tour must be able to climb up 105 steps to the top.

Today is Cinco de Mayo and as we head out to our favorite bars in Palm Beach County for Margaritas, one should remember the “real deal” on Cinco de Mayo. After Hernan Cortez and his Spanish army conquered the Holy City of Cholula, Mexico one October day in 1519. The Spanish conquistadors ravaged the Aztec holy city that day. Following the previous two movies of the sequel trilogy, “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi”, the main Star Wars film franchise concluded. For the entire month of May, the Palm Beaches is dedicated to celebrating art and culture in the county. The art and culture series is called MOSAIC and is happening this May. MOSAIC stands for Month of Shows, Art, Ideas, and Culture and everyone is invited to participate and enjoy special discounts and deals at many Palm Beach County attractions.

The Town of Jupiter has decided to continue to bring Jupiter U to the residents and community by going virtual this year. Jupiter U includes a series of short films and tours of Jupiter’s landmarks and areas throughout Jupiter.

The tours highlight the important facts and aim to educate the residents about their local government and our unique beach town. The virtual tours are available for the public to watch on demand now. The tour videos can be watched in any order but recommended that the first video be the welcoming video with Jupiter’s Mayor Todd Wodraska. In the welcoming video, the Mayor gives an overview of the program and provides updates for the ongoing and upcoming projects happening in Jupiter.

Just one year after turning pro, Jupiter Island resident Tiger Woods wins the 1997 Masters, shooting a then scoring record 18-under par for the week. The youngest person ever to claim the Green Jacket, Tiger won by a Masters record 12 shots, a record that still stands today.

Woods has since gone on to win the Masters 4 more times, with the latest being in 2019.

The Gardens Mall has partnered with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to present a new exhibit coming to the mall beginning this week. The exhibit is called ‘Out Of This World’ and is an “interactive imagination immersion above and beyond”.

The exhibits is set to open on the first floor of The Gardens Mall near Saks Fifth Avenue this Friday, April 16th. The exhibit will be open to the public in Palm Beach Gardens until May 16th. Admission is by donation with all proceeds benefiting the charitable partner, Give Kids The World.

Wednesday nights the Lighthouse is open to visitors for the Lighthouse Sunset Tour. Visitors can climb the 105 steps to the top and take in the incredible sunset views over Jupiter.
