Enjoy a FREE concert from American Idol contestant, Allegra Miles Band at Mathews Brewing Company in Lake Worth on July 15, 2022. Allegra Miles was a highly praised contestant on “American Idol” for her rendition of Billie Eilish’s song “Ocean Eyes.” Allegra has become a standout on American Idol season 20. After her unique spin on Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin'” during the April 17 episode. She also competed on Season 18 of “The Voice”. This will be one of her last local South Florida shows before the talented band moves to Los Angeles.

Allegra was born in San Diego and spent 5 years living in St. John, the smallest of the 3 U.S. Virgin Islands, with her family. Allegra and her family moved to Florida in 2014 and now reside in West Palm Beach.

Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival presents 'Richard II' at Carlin Park in Jupiter. It is Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival time again. This year they are bringing back an opportunity to see the real “Shakespeare” deal with its production of "Richard II. The festival is presented in partnership with the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. The Shakespeare by the Sea XXXII production of Richard II in Carlin Park (750 South Alternate A1A, Jupiter) will take place July 7 – 10, 2022 and July 14 – 17, 2022 beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Though more accurately known as "The Life and Death of King Richard the Second," and commonly called "Richard II," it is understood to have been written around 1595. This is the first of Shakespeare's history plays.…

Make a wish for the Star Festival, Tanabata! Write your wish on a strip of colored paper, or tanzaku, and tie it to a branch of the Tanabata bamboo to celebrate at the Morikami Museum, located at 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach. All the people of Japan celebrated the story of Tanabata and its festival. It was during this period that the tradition of writing wishes on tanzaku, brightly colored pieces of paper, and hanging them from branches of bamboo became part of the celebration.

The Village of Wellington offers free musical entertainment, including events with food trucks for your tasting pleasure, from 5-9 p.m. every Thursday, plus free movies on the first Friday of the month and occasional free Saturday night concerts.

Tomorrow is the 12th Annual Friends of Jupiter Beach Food and Wine Festival! It is scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – to 5:00 p.m. Visitors can look forward to a variety of local restaurants and live music at the Jupiter Riverwalk Plaza Down Under. This is a dog-friendly event that raises funds for the nonprofit group. Proceeds of the event support its mission of keeping Jupiter Beach clean and dog friendly.
