The Village Council of Wellington and Buffalo Trace are once again hosting their beloved Bacon and Bourbon Fest. The events is held on the grounds surrounding the new Village of Wellington Community Center and amphitheater, the free event is scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, March 22nd and 23rd.

You can join the experts of the Palm Beach Pack & Paddle Club every Saturday morning to paddle around the stunning wetlands at Winding Waters Natural Area. The event is perfect way to kick off your weekend as well as a great way to learn about the restoration that turned this abandoned cow pasture into a beautiful wetland teeming with wildlife.

The Shamrock Fest will be happening again this year on Saturday at the Riverwalk Stage in Stuart. This event is great for Palm Beach residents of all ages, it will include food, drink, and lots of opportunities for family fun.

There will be an authentic Irish spread including Corned Beef and Cabbage, Shepherd’s pie, and corned beef on rye. There will also be Irish whiskey and cold green beer on tap.

Events will include a YMCA kid’s zone, Irish step dancers, Bagpipe players and, at 8pm, a costume contest.

The 6th Annual Plein Air Festival is coming up this Saturday at The Lighthouse Art Center. For those unfamiliar for “Plein Air” art, it is a French expression which means “in the open air,” and is used to describe the act of painting outdoors.

Watching some Spring Training baseball is a great way to spend the afternoon with friends or family, especially now in South Florida when we are set to have some beautiful weather.

The Natural Area Festival is a great outdoor event coming up in Palm Beach County for kids (Ages 8 and up) and their parents. During the event, which is hosted by the Winding Waters Natural Area in West Palm Beach, you and your child will work as a team to navigate through the woods using a compass, map, and your sense of direction.

A quick lesson will be given along with compasses to use (not to keep). This hike as an extra special SURPRISE that’s will elevate the fun. Additional spots will be available on the day of the festival.
