Mark your calendars for the 3rd Saturday Gourmet Food Truck Invasion in downtown Hobe Sound this Saturday, April 20th.

The food trucks will be lined up on Se Dixie Highway between Se Mars and Se Apollo Streets. Come for a night of family fun, great food and a change to mingle with your neighbors.

During the large block party, local shops and vendors stay open later for shopping. The block party brings live music by DJ Jef, and some of the best gourmet food trucks in the area. The Hobe Sound Food Truck series occurs on the third Saturday of every month from September to May. The cost to attend is free with food and beverages purchase.

This Saturday is the last Green Market in downtown West Palm Beach until the fall. Since October, the waterfront of West Palm Beach hosted their weekly Green Market every Saturday for the past 24 years.

The Green Market has been the ideal place to gather fresh foods and local goods from more than 90 vendors and this Saturday, April 20th is the last Green Market until October 6th. The local vendors offer a variety of special foods, fresh local produce, plants, herbs, spices, gourmet foods, baked goods, home made crafts, artwork and much more.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting two Lighthouse tours this week. This Wednesday, April 17th, the lighthouse is hosting their reoccurring Lighthouse Sunset Tour and on Friday, April 19th the lighthouse is hosting their Lighthouse Moonrise Tour.

Lighthouse Sunset Tour:
Climb to the top of the lighthouse this Wednesday night and take in the spectacular view of Jupiter, the ocean and the incredible Florida sunset. You will event get a change to you’re the Lighthouse Watch room and watch the lighthouse turn on and illuminate the sky. The Town of Jupiter is hosting their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th at the Jupiter Community Park softball fields. Join in on the fun of hunting and collecting as many Easter eggs as you can.

The Easter Egg Hunt is for the whole family and will include bounce houses, face painting, arts and crafts, visits from the Easter Bunny and much more. Food and beverages will be available throughout the morning for purchase.

Registration is now open for the 8th Annual Run 4 The Sea 2019. The run supports the Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s mission of ocean conservation and sea turtle research and rehabilitation.

The run is a timed 4 mile run along A1A in Juno Beach and Jupiter. The race is Saturday, June 15th and is open to all runners and walkers who wish to participate. In addition to the 4-mile run there will be a 1-mile Kids Fun Run that will start at 8:15 am after the 4-mile run has started. The cost of the 1-Mile Kids Run is $20 dollars and it includes a child’s t-shirt and a finishers medal. Parents can either cheer on their child along the run or join in on the run for no additional charge.

The Lion King is coming the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts at the end of the month as part of the center’s “Kravis on Broadway” series.

Disney’s The Lion King is hitting the stage Wednesday, April 24th through Sunday, May 5th. The popular movie turned Broadway show has been played to more than 95 million people around the world and this is the first time the musical will be in West Palm Beach. The pontoon Pontiki boat features a friendly captain that takes you to some of the best sightseeing spots in our area and stops along the way to find a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the water.

The City of Palm Beach Gardens Recreation is hosting their annual Easter Egg Extravaganza this Saturday, April 13th at the Gardens Park Soccer fields.

The egg hunt is for all ages and includes a breakfast from local vendors, interactive games, bounce houses, dance demonstrations, and a live DJ. There will also be a photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny from 9:15 am to 11 am, be sure to bring your camera.

The egg hunt will start at 10 am and the children will be divided into different groups based on their ages.
