Big Dog Ranch Rescue currently has 174 Puppies who need a home! There are also 344 dogs between 1-3 years old, 210 dogs between 3-7 years old, and 34 dogs more than 7 years old (these numbers also include the dogs at their Alabama location). So, even if you're not ready for a puppy, there are plenty of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. You're bound to find a perfect fit for your family. At Waterfront Properties, our managing partner Rob Thomson is also the Vice President of Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and it is a cause near and dear to all our hearts. As the dog days of summer wind down and the kids are back at school, it’s the perfect opportunity to allow furry family members to have a special pool, and play day. Not much further south in Broward County there are two splashy water play parks, which are going to the dogs. Both pool parks are normally people-only. For the K-9 events, proof of rabies vaccine and license tag is required. Dogs need to be well-behaved and off-leash.

Last week Eastern Kentucky was in the wake of catastrophic flooding that killed dozens of people and displaced thousands of residents and their pets from their homes. American Humane’s Rescue Team rushed to the impacted area. American Humane is located at 251 Royal Palm Way, Palm Beach. One of the rescue trucks was donated by internationally renowned philanthropist and Palm Beach resident, Lois Pope. This huge, 50-foot mobile rescue unit makes it possible for American Humane first responders to be on the ground and provide aid to animals and relief organizations in real-time.
