The Town of Jupiter has announced that their annual Jupiter U, is going virtual this year. Jupiter U is set to take place this April form the comfort of your own home.

Jupiter U will include a series of virtual tours of landmarks and areas throughout Jupiter. The tours will still highlight the important facts and aims to educate the residents about their local government and our unique town.

The virtual tours will be uploaded in April and will be available for residents to watch on demand anytime. Those who wish to watch the tours will not have to register this year but can register to receive updates. The first 100 people to register to receive updates and details about Jupiter U will receive a welcome packet with Jupiter U goodies.

Located in the heart of Palm Beach Island is the growing and popular Royal Poinciana Plaza. The newly renovated 180,000 square foot outdoor lifestyle and shopping center is filled with lush gardens and two elegant courtyards located on the corner of Royal Poinciana Way and Cocoanut Road.

The Plaza was built in 1957 by architect and builder John Volk. Volk is known for designing homes for the Vanderbilt’s, Pulitzers, Dodges, DuPonts, and Fords. The annual Festival of the Arts BOCA is back again for another year this March. The extraordinary, multi-day cultural arts event is in its 15th season and the festival promises to be unlike any festival they have ever produced.

The famous Norton Museum of Art is excited to be open and welcoming guest back. This year, the museum is celebrating its 80th Anniversary and in the beginning of February held a virtual celebration to celebrate the milestone.

The Norton Museum of Art was founded in 1941 by Ralph H. Norton and his wife Elizabeth. Norton was an industrialist in Chicago who was head of the Acme Steel Company. The idea of the museum came about because the two used to collect art and items to decorate their homes.

The 31st Annual Downtown Stuart Art Festival will be taking place this weekend. Osceola Street in Downtown Stuart will be transformed into a spectacular art festival. Gallery style booths will line the street and be filled with fine art and homemade goods available for purchase.

Stuart is home to more than 70 gift shops, clothing stores, and restaurants in the downtown area that will be open during the art festival for locals and visitors to enjoy the small town.  For the past 34 years, the festival has established itself to be one of the main art fairs in Martin County.

The annual ArtFest is back again for its 34th year. The local favorite since 1988 is taking over downtown Stuart this Saturday and Sunday.  New this year, the festival will also be hosting a major fundraiser for the Arts Foundation of Martin County and will feature a virtual ‘ArtsFest at Home’ segment for attendees to stream from their own home.

The ArtFest 2021 is still going to be located downtown but is moving a little more west on SE Ocean Boulevard to include the Gazebo and the Court House Cultural Center. Hundreds of vendors, photographers, and artist will be onsite displaying their works available for purchase. The festival will also include virtual events, live demonstrations, live music, live performances, and much more.

Palm Beach County’s FotoFusion is back again this February after another successful year. The annual festival is presented by the Palm Beach Photographic Centre and is normally held in downtown West Palm Beach, but this year the event is going complete virtual.

The show promises to still be as vibrant as ever, showcasing internationally known photographers for virtual portfolio reviews and virtual engagements. This year, the event will spotlight photojournalist Maggie Steber, who will be receiving this year’s prestigious FOTOMentor Award. After years of being held in Jupiter, the local favorite ArtiGras Art Festival is back again for another year and this time will be held in Palm Beach Gardens. The annual outdoor art festival has moved this year due to construction happening in Jupiter.

The art festival will be taking over the Gardens North County District Park this upcoming weekend.
