Every Wednesday in the month of June, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their weekly Five Flags Over Jupiter Inlet Event. The event includes a guided tour to learn about the rich military history of the Jupiter Lighthouse. 

The Five Branches of the United States Armed Forces have contributed more than 150 years to the history of the iconic red lighthouse. 

Space is limited to 20 people per week and those who attend will learn about how the Army constructed the Lighthouse before the Civil War, the history of a WWII Naval Building, personal stories of the Coast Guard Lighthouse Keepers, and much more. 

The event is free with the purchase of general admission.

The Flagler Museum, formally known as Whitehall, is a grand estate that features more than 100,000 square feet filled with some of the most important history of Palm Beach Island and the Gilded Age. The grand estate is one of the many famous landmarks and homes located on Palm Beach. 

The home was commissioned by Henry M Flagler, an American Industrialist and founder of Standard Oil, for his wife Mary as a wedding gift.

Flagler asked John Carrere and Thomas Hastings to design and build the grand estate. Carrere and Hastings were famous architects during the Gilded Age and were also the architects for other famous landmarks in New York City such as The New York Public Library and The Waldorf Astoria Hotel.

For the entire month of May, Palm Beach County is dedicated at celebrating culture and art in the county. MOSAIC is back this May with events, shows, art, and culture all month long. 

MOSAIC stands for Month of Shows, Art, Ideas, and Culture and it takes place at several locations around Palm Beach County. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy special discounts and deals at many local attractions. 

MOSAIC is put together every year by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County. The Council was formed in 1978 and has since evolved to be a strong local arts advocate. Palm Beach County is known as Florida’s Cultural Capital and this month its all about more.

The Festival of the Arts is back in Boca Raton beginning this weekend. The festival is an extraordinary, multi-day festival for the cultural arts. The festival begins today, March 3rd, and continues through Sunday, March 12th. 

The Festival of the Arts takes place at the Mizner Park Amphitheater and Mizner Park Cultural Arts Center located in Boca Raton. The events feature several of the worlds most sought after classical and contemporary performers, performances, stories, film screenings, award-winning authors and speakers, and much more.

The annual Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival is back this weekend. The festival is the largest of its kind and draws thousands of visitors to Lake Worth Beach each year. 

The festival lasts until the first raindrop, the street painting festival turns the streets into beautiful and unique pieces of artwork. The Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival features temporary pieces in an open-air museum of art, sounds, and food. The festival is free to attend.

Palm Beach County’s Norton Museum of Art is presenting Joseph Stella’s Visionary Nature: A Discussion with the Curators on November 19, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Joseph Stella: Visionary Nature is co-organized by Stephanie Heydt of the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, and Audrey Lewis of the Brandywine River Museum of Art. Within the Palm Beach County Gardens Branch Library, 11303 Campus Drive in Palm Beach Gardens is "Garden Gate" by Garth Edwards. The Palm Beach County Art in Public Places program allows projects to come about. The program is managed by the Facilities Development and Operations Department of Palm Beach County.
