Looking for free entertainment in the area? Well then head on over to the Wellington Amphitheater for free outdoor concerts with tribute bands. Concerts take place on Thursdays, but you can also choose from select Friday and Saturday nights. 

So, what does this event include? There are also food truck roundups on Thursday nights and free movies on Friday nights. Bring your own seats and your own snacks and drinks unless it is Thursday. 

This winter, the Lakeside Market will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday night through April 22, 2022 (except on Nov. 26, 2021).

Admission is free, and registration is no longer required. So that’s great! But please note that no smoking, alcohol, or pets are allowed.

Incorporate your inner Zen with relaxing yoga, breathtaking views of a Southeast Florida sunrise, and the sounds of the ocean. Sunrise Beach Yoga, of Delray Beach, was created to bring together a group of like-minded individuals who love yoga, the beach, and the sunrise.  Prior yoga experience is not required, and all levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Sunrise yoga will be held every Sunday!

The class will start at 6:30 A.M. every Sunday! The class is 60 minutes long. No prior yoga experience is required. The class will be an all-level hatha-vinyasa style yoga class. Participants will be asked to adhere to proper social distancing guidelines and space yourselves out 6 feet apart.

Enjoy the upscale tropical island setting of the Sailfish Marina and the Sunset Celebration, on Singer Island, you will find the premier weekly arts and crafts show of the Palm Beaches. The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation has been building reefs off the Jupiter coastline for several years. The Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Harris who was struck by a boat while snorkeling in the Jupiter Inlet on June 8, 2014. The foundation’s work will help assure the long-term health and vibrancy of the local marine environment where Andrew loved to dive and fish.

The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation began a significant education initiative in 2018. The goal was to donate a 5-book set of the “Professor Clark the Science Shark” series to every third-grade classroom in Florida, 55,000 books in all!  As you can imagine that goal has been met and enthusiastically received!!

The cost of homes has climbed sharply. Palm Beach did NOT make the top ten most expensive zip codes. Southeast Florida is an affordable paradise to call home. The top ten most expensive zip codes in the United States all have median home prices of more than $4 million, according to a report from Property Shark.

Of the 100 top priciest zip codes, 30 have median prices of over $3 million, more than twice the number of areas at that price last year.  The top two are:

Young Friends of Jupiter Beach is back and actively serving the Jupiter community.  On the 3rd Sunday of the month, from 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM, local are students gather at Ocean Cay Park for Students from local and neighboring high schools are invited to join the group for a beach cleanup. These students are earning volunteer hours for school as well as helping keep Jupiter beaches clean.

These budding, philanthropic environmentalists are becoming the next generation of emerging environmental stewards, preserving Jupiter’s beaches, habitat, and marine life for future generations. Take the family and get out for a night under the stars with a FREE movie. Friday night family-friendly flicks will be shown at the Screen on the Green at Waterfront Commons, 101 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

On the second Friday of every month, the City of West Palm Beach sets up an open-air theater.
