This year’s Spiny Lobsterfest will be help at Sailfish Marina on Saturday, August 11th, 2018.

A lively little speakeasy on the Singer Island has quite a backstory. As the legend goes, McCoy was a moonshiner here in South Florida during the times of Prohibition.  He had a hidden speakeasy and a reputation for the best moonshine. People from all walks of life came to indulge in his spirits. Within the city limits of northern Palm Beach County is a treasure known as Frenchman’s Forest Natural Area.  The natural area protects “slash pine flatwoods, live oak hammock, cypress swamp, hydric hammock and tidal swamp and mangrove habitat”.
