On September 23rd, Eau Palm Beach Resort will be hosting the third annual Burger & Beer Bash to fundraise for Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Not only will a portion of proceeds benefit efforts to save the sea turtles, but event-goers will have the pleasure of participating as “judges” of burger-and-beer pairings. Eau’s head chefs will partner with local breweries in a friendly competition, and guests will enjoy all pairings before indicating their favorites on a ballot.

Participating area breweries include Due South, Copperpoint, Funky Buddha, SaltWater Brewery and Tequesta Brewing Company.

Tickets are $65 a person, and the affair will be 1-4pm at the Manalapan resort on 100 S. Ocean Blvd.

Jupiter’s only water TOP restaurant has been featured on Food Network’s new show “Food Boats”, and Chef Justin Lindemann is ecstatic.

According to the Palm Beach Post, producers and celebrity Chef Jordan Andino hopped on the Food Yacht in April to shoot the spotlight segment on Lindemann’s small kitchen creations. Lindemann wanted to showcase the locals’ favorite barbecue chicken burrito and lemon pepper seared tuna wrap, but producers insisted on the shrimp BLT and crab cakes.

The New York City film crew had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather and Bahamas-blue water of Jupiter Florida from the 40-foot six-seater restaurant.

Bluewater Babes Fish For a Cure is an all-female fishing tournament that has had Floridians anticipating the festive mix of fishing, boat decorating, and creative costumes all year round. On September 6th, Café Boulud of Palm Beach will focus its dinner event on the classic qualities of  wines produced by “family owned properties” in northern Spain. Their resident sommelier, Imre Papp, has artfully chosen a selection of Spanish wines for the evening, including a reserve by Eladio Piñeiro planned to be served at the event’s 6:45 p.m. reception.

Dinner commences at 7 p.m. with a four-course menu orchestrated by executive chef Rick Mace and head pastry chef Julie Franceschini, with each course paired with specific wine chosen by Papp.

Did you know you can SPEND THE NIGHT at the Palm Beach Zoo??? You heard right- the Palm Beach Zoo allows you to meet their nocturnal creatures after hours for an exciting night of animal encounters, a night tour of the zoo, a pizza snack, continental breakfast, and wild activities like scavenger hunts and crafts!

This program is designed for participants ages 6 and over, and all overnight programs must be reserved in advance. The overnight adventure capacity is 60 people, with a minimum of 15 children, and they welcome scout troops, birthday parties, school groups, and yes- even adult groups.
