The city of Palm Beach Gardens is suitably named, as it is comprised of 30 percent flourishing greenery. Located seven miles north of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens is known for its excellent shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities at the Gardens Mall, Downtown at the Gardens, and Legacy Place. Boating and fishing are plentiful, as are beautiful luxurious waterfront homes, some even sitting directly on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, if not the Intracoastal Waterway.

South Florida is known for its abundances in real estate.  Gorgeous residences on the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal waterways and other waterfront properties, including elegant country club/golf course communities and stunning equine communities are plentiful. Many are exclusive private, members-only clubs and communities.  Rarely are the “gates” to these elaborate communities open to the public.

You do not have to be a royal or a handsome model to enjoy the sport of polo these days.  Head on out to Wellington and the polo grounds and enjoy a fanciful day of preeminent polo on the circuit!

Edgar Allan Poe (January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849) was an American writer.  Poe is best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre.  The most recurring themes of his writings deal with questions of death, the effects of decomposition, concerns of premature burial, the revival of the dead, and mourning.  He was considered a "mad man" or a "troubled genius".

The Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival is bringing this "madman" to life in an original production of EDGAR, a play conceived by Shakespeare Festival founder and director Kermit Christman. The show premiered in 1994 and has since toured South Florida.

EDGAR followers the life of Poe, as he encounters the “Man”, who represents the various male…
