The city of Palm Beach Gardens is suitably named, as it is comprised of 30 percent flourishing greenery. Located seven miles north of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens is known for its excellent shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities at the Gardens Mall, Downtown at the Gardens, and Legacy Place. Boating and fishing are plentiful, as are beautiful luxurious waterfront homes, some even sitting directly on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, if not the Intracoastal Waterway.

South Florida is known for its abundances in real estate.  Gorgeous residences on the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal waterways and other waterfront properties, including elegant country club/golf course communities and stunning equine communities are plentiful. Many are exclusive private, members-only clubs and communities.  Rarely are the “gates” to these elaborate communities open to the public.

For the eighth straight year, Rory Mcllroy will tee it up at the PGA Tour's annual stop in Palm Beach Gardens at the Honda Classic. 

The event has become somewhat of a "home game" for Mcllroy who is a Palm Beach Gardens resident and lives just a few minutes from PGA National. The event will once again kick off the Florida Swing, and Mcllroy, who won the event in 2012 and lost in a playoff in 2014, is looking forward to playing in an event that he says suits his eye.

Edgar Allan Poe (January 19, 1809 – October 7, 1849) was an American writer.  Poe is best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre.  The most recurring themes of his writings deal with questions of death, the effects of decomposition, concerns of premature burial, the revival of the dead, and mourning.  He was considered a "mad man" or a "troubled genius".

Padraig Harrington, who sat out the majority of the fall after he had surgery to repair a torn knee ligament, returned to action this past weekend at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. After his T6 finish, he made an announcement that should make Honda Classic officials and South Florida fans of his very happy. The Irish golfer announced that he plans on playing a regular schedule, which should mean a return to PGA National and the Honda Classic.

 “You’re not sure what to expect, so I was happy with what I saw and (hope) all goes well for the rest of the season,” Harrington said.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park just north of Jupiter, in Hobe Sound, is a natural wildlife park worthy of exploring with the entire family.  The park offers two full facility campgrounds and a youth/group simple campground.  The park itself rests several miles off the coastal shores of South Florida.  Almost 11,500 acres of land and Loxahatchee River host thirteen ecological communities from swamps to pine flatwoods, a “biological community so rare it is designated “globally imperiled”.

Parasailing in the Palm Beaches will take your breathe away! The views from the arial vantage point will change your perspective on things.

Parasailing is a recreational sporting activity like no other!  Here in South Florida, a special parachute glides a rider, in its harness, up and through the air while being towed behind a power boat over the Atlantic Ocean.  The rider is then gently lowered down after completion of the parasail adventure.

The South Florida Science Center and Aquarium  and Bricks 4 Kidz would like to make youth camps, interesting classes and other fun events  readily available to the northern Palm Beach County Area.  The proposed new center will be in the Town of Jupiter’s Abacoa Community.

The West Palm Beach based not for profit has leased 2,000 square feet in Abacoa’s retail and restaurant expanse formally known as Abacoa Town Center.  The newly renovated downtown is a family friendly and date appropriate venue.  The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for place to unwind or somewhere to relax with the family, there is something for everyone.
