 The Robert Fontaine Gallery moved onto Worth Avenue in Palm Beach last month after being in the Miami area for 11 years. The Town of Palm Beach persists in attracting a growing flock of major art collectors. Changes in the art world, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have influenced this migration.

The gallery owner, Robert Fontaine, said the decision to move to 256 Worth Avenue, Palm Beach was somewhat based on the inability to find a space in Miami at a reasonable price.  Fontaine's gallery was in Miami's Wynwood art district for 6 years before moving to Miami Beach in 2017.  Because of the gentrification, it has been difficult for art galleries to find space without being priced out.

The Andrew “Red” Harris Foundation has been artificial reef building over the past 7 years. The Foundation is in Jupiter and pursued the foundation's mission of "enhancing and protecting the marine environment" by raising over $2 million to build over 1.5 miles of new reefs offshore of Jupiter and Juno Beach.

The Foundation was created to honor the memory of Andrew Harris who was struck by a boat while snorkeling in the Jupiter Inlet on June 8, 2014. The foundation’s work will help assure the long-term health and vibrancy of the local marine environment where Andrew loved to dive and fish.

The 11th Annual Downtown West Palm Beach Art Festival will take place April 17-18, 2021. Rosemary Square (formerly CityPlace) in West Palm Beach will host this fine arts affair.  The festival will feature artists' tents, arranged gallery-style, and filled with all mediums of fine art at this FREE outdoor event.

This past weekend, a huge truck pulled up to the New Macedonia Baptist Church filled with Easter joy for 500 families waiting for the spring surprise. One by one, volunteers from Waterfront Properties carried five hundred yellow, pink and blue baskets filled with toys and chocolate candies to the children waiting with excited smiles on their faces. The West Palm Beach Green Market located at 101 South Flagler Drive, in West Palm Beach has had a very successful 2020-2021 season.  The farmer’s market on the WPB waterfront has been running since Saturday October 17, 2020 and now as the season comes to an end the green market will soon close.
