The Town of Jupiter and the Village of Tequesta are nestled between Palm Beach Gardens and Stuart. Both areas cater to the outdoor style, as they wrap around the Loxahatchee River and Intracoastal Waterway, which provide incomparable views to residents. For this reason, water sports and boating are abundant. Jupiter and Tequesta also offer their share of championship golf courses and pristine beaches frequented often under consistently sunny skies.

Burt Reynold's Ranch in Jupiter Farms

The property located at 16133 Jupiter Farms Road in Jupiter has a long history.  It is rumored to have been a gangster hideout in the 1920’s and was owned by legendary actor Burt Reynolds in the 1980’s.  Notorious gangster Al Capone built the original home on the property in 1923.  Reynolds owned the ranch for years and shot scenes from the immensely successful “Smokey and the Bandit” movie, as well as scenes from the television series “B.L. Stryker” there.  He also married television actress Loni Anderson at the chapel on the grounds in 1988. In addition to the movie studio, the ranch also had a petting zoo!

The Palm Beach County School District bought the land for $3.8 million in 1999.  For the past ten years, the property has been a “much hoped…
